Sunday, November 9 Daytime update

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. She is laying on her left side.

  • 8:15 am- Maureen is awake now. She looks comfortable, no signs of distress.

  • 8:40 am- We started the day. Maureen’s diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Sureprep barrier film on sacrum area and Medline Remedy Prevent silicone cream on inner tights. Next we washed Maureen’s upper body. No redness observed. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

  • 9:00 am- Administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

  • 9:05 am- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

  • 9:25 am- Maureen had 10 oz of lemon water.

  • 9:30 and- Breakfast- omelette, half a pear, 10 oz of water mixed with apple juice. Two coughs.

  • 10:10 am- Maureen enjoyed 4 oz of coffee.

  • 10:15 am- Morning oral care.

  • 10:20 am- Facial and hand care routine.

  • 10:50 am- Maureen closed her eyes.

  • 11:15 am- Maureen Maureen took 20 minutes nap.

    Deacon Andy arrived for Sunday service.

  • 11:25 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Her diaper was heavy wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie down on her right side for an hour starting at 11:40 am. T is 97.6.

  • 12:40 pm- Maureen has been sleeping for about 10 minutes now. Will just give her some more time.

  • 12:55 pm- Maureen opened her eyes and got jumpy. P-84,O2-96. It lasted about 10 minutes. Her diaper was dry. When she calmed down we dressed her and transferred to the recliner.

  • 1:20 pm- Lunch- Grilled ham and cheese sandwich, potato salad, 10 oz of coconut water. Maureen coughed twice with her nose running during coughing.

  • 2:00 pm- Oral care.

  • 2:05 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Her diaper was heavy wet and she had a small soft bowel movement.. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 2:20 pm.

  • 3:00 pm- We shortened the second break . Maureen’s diaper was dry. We dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

  • 3:55 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon and apple. Maureen coughed twice, sneezed a few times.

  • 4:30 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of sparkling water. No coughs.

  • 4:45 pm- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

  • 5:00 pm- Dinner- baked salmon, mashed potatoes, steamed Brussels sprouts, 10 oz of water. Maureen coughed twice, sneezed twice.

  • 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

  • 6:00 pm- Maureen took 2 oz of lemon water.

  • 6:10 pm- Evening oral care.

  • 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Her diaper was heavy wet and she had a extra large formed bowel movement. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Medline Remedy Prevent silicone cream. Applied Cetaphil lotion to Maureen’s face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned Maureen on her left side.

  • Maureen consumed 56 oz of liquids today. She seemed to have more energy in the afternoon.

Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025 - Daytime update

9:00am Maureen just woke, slightly jumpy for a few minutes. She’s receptive to sips of water soon after. 9:30am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce .

 
 
 
Monday, Nov. 10, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's sleeping while on her left side. 8:35AM - Maureen opened her eyes, no signs of distress. She took sips of water via swab. 8:50AM - She went back to sleep. 9:30AM - She's comfortably
