Sunday, November 26 Daytime update

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is awake. Tom said she was awake at 5:00 am when he came down. He has been giving her sips of water from time to time.

  • 8:15 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:20 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Mayla and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed Maureen's upper body. The redness on her right underarm looks better. We applied a thin layer of nystatin. Dressed Maureen and headed to the kitchen.

  • 8:45 am- Breakfast- Omelette, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, cup of water. Maureen coughed once.

  • Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

  • 9:25 am- Administered 10 mg Loratadin.

  • 9:30 am- Morning oral care. Maureen's gums on the upper right side look a little red. We reclined Maureen's chair down for her comfort.

  • 9:35 am- Facial routine.

  • 10:00 am- Maureen is resting in the chair, having some water at times.

  • 11:30 am- Deacon Andy came to visit Maureen for Sunday service.

  • 11:40 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Her diaper was dry. We positioned her on the right side at 11:50 am.

  • 12:50 pm- Maureen's first rest break is over now. Diaper was medium wet. Mayla and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the kitchen.

  • 1:05 pm- Lunch- Oatmeal smoothie, cup of sparkling water. No coughs.

  • 1:15 pm- BP- 110/70, Pulse-66.

  • 1:30 pm- Maureen had an episode of coughing and sneezing a lot for a few minutes. She was salivating a lot, we used the suction machine.

  • 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. Maureen will lie down for an hour starting at 2:10 pm.

  • 3:10 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Mayla and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the living room.

  • 3:25 pm- Maureen is enjoying sister Roberta's treatment.

  • 3:45 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, pear and kiwi. No coughs.

  • 5:00 pm- Dinner- ham, Brussels sprouts, baked appls, cup of water. Maureen coughed once. She finished a full cup of water.

  • 6:00 pm- Administered 12.5 ml Vimpat and 5 mg Olanzapine with apple sauce.

  • 6:15 pm- Evening oral care.

  • 6:20 pm- BP- 115/70.

  • 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet. Mayla and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Applied Cetaphil lotion on Maureen's face, hands, feet, legs. Positioned her on the left side.

  • T- 97.3, P- 68, O2-98.

  • 6:55 pm- Maureen is asleep.
