Sunday, November 16 Daytime update

  • 7:00 am- Maureen is sleeping, comfortably laying on her left side.

  • 8:15 am- Maureen is waking up. She is calm and relaxed. According water sips via swab.

  • 8:30 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

  • 8:35 am - We started the day. Maureen’s diaper was light wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Sureprep barrier wipe on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner tights. We washed Maureen’s upper body. Dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

  • 9:00 am- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

  • 9:05 am- Maureen had 10 oz of electrolyte water. No coughs.

  • 9:10 am- Breakfast- omelette, some pear, 10 oz of apple juice. Maureen had two dry coughs while eating.

  • 9:45 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with applesauce. Maureen coughed once and was able to get some phlegm out. Suction machine was used.

  • 9:50 am- Morning oral care.

  • 10:00 am- Facial and hand care routine.

  • 10:20 am - Maureen closed her eyes.

  • 11:15 am- After taking a half an hour nap, we transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Her diaper was dry. She will lay down on her right side for an hour starting at 11:25 am.

  • 12:25 pm- Maureen’s first rest break ended. Her diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

  • 12:45 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of coconut water. No coughs.

  • 12:50 pm- Lunch- green beans and chicken soup, chicken salad and avocado mash, chocolate chip cookie from Michael for dessert, 10 oz of sparkling water. Maureen coughed four times, sneezed multiple times.

  • 1:45 pm- Oral care.

  • 1:50 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 2:05 pm.

  • 3:05 pm- Maureen’s second rest break is over now. Her diaper was medium wet and she had a small formed bowel movement. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

  • 3:30 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.

  • 4:00 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon. Maureen coughed once.

  • 4:15 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of lemon water.

  • 4:20 pm- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

  • 5:00 pm- Dinner- Spaghetti with meatballs. Maureen coughed twice. She had 8 oz of water .

  • 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

  • 6:10 pm- Evening oral care.

  • 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Her diaper was heavy wet and she had a small formed bowel movement. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Applied Cetaphil lotion on her face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned Maureen on her left side.

  • Maureen consumed 58 oz of liquids today. She smiled a few times.

9:00am Maureen is already awake with Tom by her bedside, receptive to sips of water via swab. 9:25am We raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce. 9:27am Blood pressure: 99/69.

 
 
 
Monday, Dec. 8, 2025 Daytime update

9:00am Maureen sleeps peacefully lying on her left side. 9:30am Maureen woke up calmly and receptive to sips of water 20 minutes ago. She seems ready to start the day, we raised her bed to administer
