8:00am Maureen is awake. She is lying on her left side.
8:28am Maureen is sound asleep. We will start our day as soon as she wakes up.
8:34am Our day begins. Filed both of Maureen’s big toes and applied Tolcylen. We saw no redness anywhere on Maureen’s skin. Diaper is medium wet - cleaned up, applied no sting barrier film, Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper. We dressed and transferred Maureen to the Geri chair using the Hoyer lift.
9:09am Spoonful of Manuka honey followed by half thyroid pill with applesauce.
9:15am Breakfast - banana, corned beef and Swiss cheese omelet, 4 oz prune juice, and a cup of water.
9:39am 5mg Lisinopril and 10mg Claritin with applesauce.
9:43am Oral care.
9:50am Morning facial routine including arms and hands.
10:06am We headed to the front room. Maureen is sitting comfortably in the recliner watching Survivor.
Our morning was a little delayed in starting as Maureen slept in. Breakfast was fair - Maureen dozed off so we paused eating multiple times. She coughed three times. Water was not our friend this morning - Maureen held water in her mouth every time we tried to take a sip.
10:45am Fruit smoothie.
11:20am Deacon Andy is here to give Maureen Holy Communion.
11:30am We headed to the bedroom for Rest period #1. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet - we cleaned and changed. Maureen is lying on her right side and will do so for one hour starting at 11:45am.
12:45pm Rest period #1 is through. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet and she had a small, formed bowel movement. We cleaned, applied Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a fresh diaper.
12:58pm We washed and styled Maureen’s hair.
1:27pm Lunch - Cabbage soup, turkey and Swiss sandwich, Brussels sprouts, and a bottle of organic coconut water.
1:44pm Oral care.
We decided to take advantage of the warm weather today and go for a walk. We left the house at 2:30pm and walked two miles. Maureen very much enjoyed being outside. We returned to the house at 4:25pm.
4:35pm We headed to the bedroom for rest period #2. Maureen’s diaper is wet - we cleaned and changed. Maureen will lie on her left side for one hour starting at 4:45pm.
6:10pm Maureen was sleeping so we gave her a little extra time for rest period #2. Diaper is light wet - we cleaned and changed. We headed to the kitchen after.
6:20pm Dinner - Raising Canes. Chicken, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast. Cup of water.
7:01pm Administered 5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT.
7:08pm Oral care.
7:14pm Night time facial routine.
7:30pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Her diaper is dry. Vicks applied to chest. Tolcylen applied to both big toes. Maureen is lying on her left side with two green wedge pillows placed behind her and the white block pillow placed in between her legs.
