Sunday, June 2 daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is sound asleep. She is lying on her left side.

• 8:30am Maureen continues to sleep. She has not stirred.

• 8:35am Maureen is awake.

• 8:47am Merianne and I sat Maureen up in bed and administered 75 mcg Levothyroxine with applesauce. We followed up with small sips of water via swab.

• 9:00am We started our day. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - Merianne and I performed a clean and change. Applied Cavilon barrier film to the sacral area and Cavilon barrier cream to the perineal area. We noticed no redness on Maureen's skin. We washed Maureen's upper body using warmed wipes from the purple packet. We headed to the kitchen for breakfast after using the Hoyer lift.

  • Temp 96.8, Pulse 72, O2 98%.

• 9:11am Breakfast - Ham, onion, tomato, roasted pepper omelet with a pear, 1/2 cup orange juice and a cup of water.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage - none

• 9:38am Administered 10mg Loratidine with applesauce.

• 9:42am Oral care. We reclined Maureen's recliner back one notch.

• 9:47am Morning facial routine.

• 10:00am We headed to the front room. Maureen is sitting comfortably watching TV.

• 10:20am Maureen is sound asleep.

• 11:00am Maureen continues to sleep.

• 11:30am We headed to the bedroom for rest break #1. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - Merianne and I performed a clean and change. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 11:38am.

• 12:38pm Rest break #1 ends. Maureen's diaper is dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen using the Hoyer lift.

  • BP 118/68, Temp 98.5, Pulse 56, O2 97%.

• 12:45pm Smoothie. 1 cup sparkling water. Yogurt for dessert.

• 1:18pm Oral care. We reclined Maureen one notch after.

• 1:40pm Carolyn is here to visit Maureen.

• 1:45pm Deacon Andy is here to visit Maureen and give Holy Communion.

• 2:30pm We headed to the bedroom for a shortened rest break #2. Maureen's diaper is heavy wet - Merianne and I performed a clean and change. Maureen will lie on her left side starting at 2:36pm.

• 3:00pm Rest break #2 ends. Maureen's diaper is dry. We dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:04pm Fruit snack. Cup of water.

• 3:15pm Sister Roberta has arrived for Maureen's weekly treatment.
