Sunday, July 27 Daytime update

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is sleeping, comfortably laying on her left side. Tom said that she woke up around 6:30 coughing, he used the suction machine, gave her some sips of water and she went back to sleep after.

  • 8:30 am- Maureen coughed, we used the suction machine, she went back to sleep again.

  • 9:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

  • 9:15 am- We repositioned Maureen. She woke up during the process. We gave her a little time. She looked calm and relaxed.

  • 925 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce. Maureen coughed multiple times. Suction machine was used.

  • Vitals-T-98.2, O2-97, P-84.

  • 9:35 am- Tom and I started the day with changing a medium wet diaper. There was a little clear vaginal discharge and some on the diaper as well. We cleaned and change it. Applied Cavilon barrier film and Cavilon cream. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

  • 9:50 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

  • Maureen’s nose is running even without coughing or sneezing.

  • 10:00 am- Maureen had 5 oz of water before breakfast.

  • 10:10 am - Breakfast- omelette, half of banana , 5 oz of water mixed with sparkling water. She coughed multiple times. We used suction machine.

  • 10:45 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with applesauce.

  • 10:50 am- Morning oral care.

  • 11:00 am- Facial and hand care routine.

  • 11:15 am- Deacon Andy came in for Sunday service.

  • 11:25 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned her on her right side at 11:35 am.

  • 12:10 pm- Maureen is sleeping in bed, her nose keeps ringing.

  • 12:35 pm- Maureen had her eyes closed for most of the rest break. Her nose kept running, she coughed multiple times. Tom and I cleaned and changed a medium wet diaper. There was very little vaginal discharge. Dressed Maureen and headed to the front room.

  • 12:50 pm- Lunch- Beef and vegetable soup, 10 oz of sparkling water. Maureen coughed a few times and sneezed many times. Her nose keeps running. She is lacking energy today.

  • 1:40 pm- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

  • 1:50 pm- Oral care.

  • 1:55 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. She will lay on her right side starting at 2:05 pm.

  • 3:00 pm- Maureen’s rest break is over. Tom and I cleaned and changed a medium wet diaper. There was very little vaginal discharge. Dressed Maureen and transferred her to the recliner.

  • 3:15 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment. Coughing , suction machine is used.

  • 3:45 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, apple and banana. Maureen coughed once.

  • 4:20 pm- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

  • 5:00 pm - Maureen’s diaper is dry.

  • 5:05 pm - Dinner- Halibut, spinach, squash and zucchini with onion and tomato, 10 in of coconut water. Maureen coughed multiple times.

  • 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

  • 6:10 pm- Evening oral care.

  • 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed it. Applied Cavilon cream. Cleaned her face and applied Cetaphil lotion on her face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned Maureen on her left side.

    O2-97

    P-63

  • Maureen consumed 30 oz of water. Many times she just refused to drink- kept the liquid in her mouth and then spilled it out. She was tired today. Her nose was constantly running. The coughing exhausted her.


I retook Maureen’s temperature @ 7:30, it was 99° … I will recheck it again later.

Tuesday April 28,2026 Daytime Update

9:30AM - Maureen's on her left side, already awake. No signs of pain or any distress. Tom’s giving her water via swab. 9:40AM-We placed Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothy
