Sunday, January 25 Daytime update

  • 9:30 am- Maureen is asleep, comfortably laying on her left side.

    Tom said that she was awake for about 45 minutes between 6:30 and 7:15 , went back to sleep after.

  • 10:00 am- Maureen has been awake for about 10 minutes. Diane and I raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

  • 10:10 am- We started the day with changing a medium wet diaper. Cleaned and applied Sureprep barrier film and Cavilon cream. Next we washed Maureen’s upper body. Dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 10:40 am- Maureen had 10 oz of electrolyte water.

    Breakfast- omelette, half of banana, 8 oz of apple juice, 2 oz of coffee.

    Maureen coughed 3 times, sneezed 3 times.

  • 11:10 am- Deacon Andy arrived in for Sunday service.

  • 11:25 am- Morning oral care.

    Face and hand care routine.

  • 12:00 pm- Maureen is relaxing, listening to music.

  • 12:50 pm- Lunch- shrimp salad, pickled red beets, 2 oz of apple juice. Maureen coughed once.

  • 1:15 - Oral care.

  • 1:20 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was medium wet.

    Diane and I cleaned and changed her.

    Positioned Maureen on her right side.

  • 2:20 pm- Maureen’s rest break ended.Her diaper was medium wet.

    We cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

  • 3:30 pm- Fresh fruit snack.

  • 3:45 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.

  • 4:00 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of coconut water.

  • 4:30 pm- Dinner- rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, 10 oz of sparkling water. Maureen coughed twice.

  • 5:45 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

  • 5:50 pm- Evening oral care.

  • 6:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Diaper was medium wet and she had a medium formed bowel movement.

    Diane and I cleaned and changed her.

    Applied Cavilon cream.

    Applied Cetaphil lotion to her face, hands and feet.

    Positioned Maureen on her left side.

  • Maureen consumed 42 oz of liquids today.
