Sunday, January 12 Daytime update

• 8:00 am- Maureen is just waking up. Tom is by her side, starting to get her some water via swab.

• 8:30 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:35 am- We started the day. Maureen’s diaper was heavy wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed her upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:50 am- Breakfast- omelette with veggies, ham and cheese, 1/2 banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1 cup of Miralax, activia yogurt, cup of water. Maureen coughed three times.

• 9:30 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with yogurt.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1 cup.

• 9:40 am- Morning oral care.

• 9:50 am- Facial routine.

• 10:15 am- We transferred Maureen to the living room.

• 10:45 am- Maureen closed her eyes.

• 11 :15 am- Maureen took a half an hour nap. Deacon Andy came for the Sunday service.

• 11:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned her on the right side at 11:40 am.

• 12:40 pm- Maureen’s first rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:50 pm- Lunch- chicken and cabbage soup, cup of coconut water, little piece of a KitKat bar. Maureen coughed twice.

• 1:30 pm- Oral care.

• 1:55 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Her diaper was dry. We positioned her on the left side at 2:00 pm.

• 3:00 pm- Maureen’s second rest break is over now. Diaper was medium wet with a medium soft bowel movement. Tom and I cleaned her thoroughly and changed . Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

• 3:15 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.

• 4:00 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, apple and banana. Maureen coughed twice.

• 5:00 pm- Dinner- shrimp casserole. Maureen coughed four times. We used the suction machine to help her. 5:45 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce.

• 5:55 pm- Evening oral care.

• 6:20 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Her diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Cleaned her face and applied Cetaphil lotion on her face, upper and lower extremities. Positioned Maureen on her left side.
