Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake when we arrived, lying on her left side.

8:30AM - We raised the bed up and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - We started to wash Maureen's upper body using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then headed to the kitchen.

9:00AM - Administered Senna S (crushed) with apple sauce. Maureen had a 1/2 cup of lemon water after.

9:10AM - Breakfast started with 8oz prune juice, omelette, and yogurt. She finished the other half cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed 2x.

9:40AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt. **Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

9:55AM - Oral care.

10:05AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - BP: 115/68, P: 68bpm

10:45AM - Maureen closed her eyes to take a nap.

11:25AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was dry. Position to face her right side at 11:35am.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Transferred to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch was oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 2 prunes, a cup of coconut water and yogurt. Coughed once, sneezed once.

1:10PM - Oral care. Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

2:00PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was dry and positioned Maureen to her left side.

2:55PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Then, transferred to the front room.

3:05PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon), had 1/4 cup of lemon water. No coughs. **Maureen has been talkative today. ☺️

3:20PM - Sister Roberta arrived for Maureen's regular massages.

4:00PM - Maureen looking relaxed, eyes closed while massage is going on.

4:55PM - Diaper was lightly wet.

5:00PM - Dinner was chicken/broccoli/peas casserole. Maureen had 3/4 cup of lemon water. Coughed 3x, sneezed 3x.

5:35PM - BP: 115/68, P: 71 bpm

5:50PM - Administered 5mg Olanzapine with applesauce and 12.5ml Vimpat.

6:10PM - Oral care.

6:30PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream in folds. Applied Cetaphil lotion on face, arms and legs. Position to face her left side with pillow in between legs and 2 wedges on her back.

6:50PM - Mauree is sleeping.
