Sunday, February 22 Daytime update

9:30 am- Maureen is sleeping. Tom said that she woke up around 6:45 , stayed awake for a while and went back to sleep.
10:00 am- Maureen is awake.
We raised the bed and administered a crashed 75 mcg tablet of levothyroxine which applesauce.
Maureen had 5 ounces of lemon water.
10:15 am- We started the day with changing a light wet diaper. There was a lot of thick, bloody vaginal discharge. We cleaned and changed her.. Applied Sureprep barrier film and Cavilon cream to appropriate areas. Washed Maureen‘s upper body ,dressed her and transferred to the recliner.
10:40 am- Maureen had 5 in of electrolyte water.
Breakfast- omelette, 10 oz of orange juice with half a cup of MiraLAX. Maureen coughed many times, sneezed too.
Daily MiraLAX dosage- 1/2 cup.
11:15 am- Deacon Andy arrived in the house for Sunday service.
11:30 am- Morning oral care.
Facial and hand care routine followed.
12:30 pm- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.
12:50 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of coconut water.
1:15 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was medium wet with a brownish spot on the diaper. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side.
2:20 pm- Maureen’s rest break ended. Her diaper was dry. We dressed her and headed to the front room.
3:00 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.
4:00 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of sparkling water.
4:30 pm- Dinner- Mostaccioli pasta and chicken, 8
oz of water. Maureen coughed twice.
5:30 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of a crushed Olanzapine tablet.
5:45 pm- Evening oral care.
6:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Diaper was heavy wet.
We cleaned and changed her . Applied Cavilon cream.
Applied Cetaphil lotion to her face, hands and legs.
Positioned Maureen on her left side.

Maureen consumed 48 ounces of liquids today. She ate very well.
