Sunday, December 29 Daytime update

• 8:00 am- Maureen was sleeping. She was awake a little earlier, but went back to sleep.

• 8:20 am- Maureen is calmly waking up.

• 8:30 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:35 am- We started the day. Maureen’s diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed it. Applied Cavilon barrier film and Cavilon cream. Washed Maureen’s upper body. There was some redness on the front of her armpits on both sides . We applied a thin layer of Nystatin . Finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:55 am- Breakfast- omelette, half of banana, activia yogurt, cup of water. Maureen coughed twice.

• 9:30 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with yogurt.

• 9:40 am- Morning oral care.

• 9:45 am- Facial routine.

• 10:00 am- BP- 110/70.

• 10:30 am- Maureen is comfortably resting in the chair, closing her eyes at times.

• 11:10 am- Deacon Andi arrives for the Sunday service.

• 11:25 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper is dry. We positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:35 am.

• 12:35 pm- Maureen’s first rest break is over now. Her diaper is dry. We dressed her and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45 pm- Lunch- Chicken noodle soup, steamed vegetables, cup of coconut water. Maureen coughed three times. She had a little fudge for dessert with almond milk.

• 1:35 pm- Oral care.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet. Brian and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:10 pm.

• 3:00 pm- Maureen’s second rest break ends. Diaper was dry. We dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

• 3:20 pm- Maureen is enjoying sister Roberta’s treatment.

• 3:50 pm- Fresh fruit snack- apple and banana. Maureen coughed twice.

• 4:30 pm- Maureen is very relaxed, closing her eyes.

• 5:00 pm- Dinner brought by Carolyn. Maureen enjoyed her turkey breast, Murphy dressing, broccoli, baked apple for dessert, cup of water. She coughed twice.

• 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce.

• 6:10 pm- Evening oral care.

• 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. There was a Alittle vaginal discharge. Applied Cavilon cream. Cleaned Maureen’s face, applied Cetaphil lotion to her face, hands, legs and feet.
