Sunday, December 21 Daytime update

• 8:00 am- Maureen is sleeping. She is comfortably laying on her left side. Tom said that she woke up around 5 am and stayed awake for an hour before going back to sleep.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is still asleep.

• 8:40 am- Maureen is awake now.

• 8:50 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

• 8:55 am- We started the day with changing a medium wet diaper. Cleaned Maureen and applied Sureprep barrier film and Cavilon cream. Washed Maureen’s upper body and dressed her . Maureen had a few hiccups sounds with a very slight jumps. O2-94, P-56. After that was gone we transferred her to the recliner.

• 9:15 am- Maureen had a 10 oz of lemon water.

• 9:20 am- Breakfast- omelette, half of banana,10 oz of electrolyte water .Maureen had an episode of many coughs and sneezes.

• 10:00 am- Oral care.

• 10:05 am- Facial routine.

• 11:00 am- Deacon Andy arrived in for regular Sunday service.

• 11:40 am - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:55 am.

• 12:25 pm- Maureen’s first rest break is over. Her diaper was medium wet. After cleaning and changing we transferred her to the recliner.

• 1:15 pm- Lunch- chicken noodle soup, shrimp salad, pickled red beets , 10 oz of coconut water and 1/2 chocolate chips cookie for dessert. Maureen coughed three times,

• 1:55 pm- Oral care.

• 2:10 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. She will lay down on her right side for half an hour starting at 2:20 pm.

• 2:40 pm- Maureen’s second rest break ended. Her diaper was medium wet. Cleaned and changed her and headed to the front room.

• 3:20 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment. She is watching “White Christmas “ movie.

• 3:40 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon and apple.

• 4:30 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of sparkling water.

• 5:00 pm - Dinner- spaghetti with meatballs, 6 oz of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice.

• 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

• 6:10 pm- Evening oral care.

• 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Her diaper was heavy wet . We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Applied Cetaphil lotion on her face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned Maureen on her left side.
