Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Came in with Tom at bedside, Maureen was awake and lying on her left side.

8:30AM - We raised the bed up and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:50AM - Maureen looking ready to start her day. We washed her upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

9:00AM - Breakfast started with 8oz of prune juice with 1/2 cap MiraLAX, omelette, sips of coffee, and yogurt. Maureen coughed once and sneezed once.

***Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

MiraLAX daily dose- 1/2 cap

9:35AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

9:45AM - Oral care.

9:55AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - Maureen sitting comfortably on recliner. Looking sleepy, she's closing and opening her eyes from time to time. She had 1/2 cup of lemon water.

11:25AM - Deacon Andy arrived for Sunday service.

11:45AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was dry. Me and Tom positioned Maureen to face her right side starting at 11:50am.

12:50PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Then, transferred to the kitchen.

1:00PM - Lunch was fruit/oatmeal smoothie, 12oz of sparkling water, rice pudding for dessert. No coughs.

2:10PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned to face her left side starting at 2:15pm.

3:00PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed Maureen then, transferred to the front room.

3:10PM - Sister Roberta's here for Maureen's Sunday massages.

3:45PM - Maureen had fruit pastry (with kiwi, blackberry & orange on top) while watching a football game and had quarter a cup of lemon water. Coughed 2x.

4:15PM - BP: 108/60, P - 65bpm

4:45PM - Maureen was snoozing and relaxing on her recliner while massage was going on. Sister Roberta also trimmed and filed Maureen's nails.

5:00PM - Diaper was dry.

5:10PM - Dinner was chicken tenders, and coleslaw. Maureen finished 1/2 cup of lemon water. Coughed 2x.

5:50PM - Administered 5mg Olanzapine with apple sauce and 12.5ml Vimpat.

6:05PM - Oral care.

6:25PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was dry. We cleaned and changed, applied Cavilon cream on folds. Applied Cetaphil

lotion on face, arms and legs. Positioned to face her left side, pillow in between legs, and 2 wedges on her back.

6:45PM - Maureen is sleeping.
