Sunday April 16, 2022 Update

  • 8:00am Maureen is sound asleep.

  • 9:00am Maureen is still drifting in and out of sleep.

  • 9:31am Our day begins. Maureen‘s diaper is medium wet - we cleaned, applied no sting barrier film, Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper. We saw no redness anywhere on Maureen’s skin. We dressed, transferred Maureen to the Geri chair, and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:54am Spoonful of Manuka honey followed by half a thyroid pill with applesauce.

  • 10:00am Breakfast - air fried bacon, ham tomato cheese omelet, banana, 4 oz prune juice, and a cup of water.

  • 10:43am Administered Lisinopril and Claritin with applesauce.

  • 10:46am Oral care.

  • 10:53am Morning facial routine including arms and hands.

  • 11:07am We headed to the front room. Maureen is sitting comfortably in the recliner, watching this week’s episode of Survivor.

  • 11:40am Deacon Andy is here to give Maureen Holy Communion.

  • 12:47pm We headed to the bedroom for a change. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet - we cleaned and changed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 1:05pm Lunch - homemade mushroom soup and green peas with a bottle of organic coconut water.

  • 1:23pm Oral care.

  • 1:45pm We headed to the bedroom for a rest period. Her diaper is dry. Maureen will lie on her right side starting at 1:57pm. Since this will be the only rest period today, we will allow Maureen extra time.

  • 3:30pm Rest period is through. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet - we cleaned and changed Maureen and we headed to the front room.

  • 3:50pm Fruit snack.

  • 5:00pm We headed to the kitchen.

  • 5:10pm Dinner - Maureen enjoyed Branzino from Stefani prime. She also enjoyed a serving of tiramisu for dessert and drank one cup of water.

  • 6:31pm Administered 5mg Olanzapine with applesauce and 7.5mL Vimpat.

  • 6:40pm Oral care.

  • 7:30pm Bedtime - transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Her diaper is medium wet - we cleaned up, applied Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper. Tolcylen applied to left big toe. Vicks applied to chest. Maureen is lying on her left side with two green wedge pillows placed behind her and the white block pillow placed in between her legs.
