Sunday, 02/05/23 - Daytime Summary

8:00AM - Came in and Tom at bedside with Maureen. She's been awake since 6:30am and been in & out of sleep according to Tom. Positioned on her left side.

Will give more time until she's ready to get up and start the day.

8:35AM - Maureen was ready to start her day. Washed her upper body with warmed purple wipes and Aloe Vesta. No redness observed on her neck, breasts and abdominal folds. Diaper was heavy wet. We cleaned and changed with 3M products. And, headed to the kitchen for breakfast.

9:05AM - Administered 1/2 tab Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Breakfast - Omelette, banana, 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap MIRALAX, and a cup of lemon water as well as a small amount of coffee with creamer from Tom. Coughed out phlegm once, Tom used suction machine as well.

Maureen enjoyed breakfast. Was chatty this morning and even managed to give us a couple of smiles. No congestion observed.

9:45AM - Administered the rest of the meds - Lisinopril and Loratadine with applesauce.

9:55AM - Oral Care.

10:20AM - Facial and hand care. Maureen is currently snoozing on her geri chair. Reclined chair one notch for her comfort. Waiting for Deacon Andy to arrive.

10:50AM - Maureen enjoying the fruit smoothie. No coughs.

11:15AM - Deacon Andy arrived for the regular Sunday service.

11:30AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st Rest Break. Diaper was medium wet, small formed bowel movement. Maureen urinated while we placed a new diaper. We did another clean and change using Aloe Vesta, applied Cavilon cream. Rest Break starting @11:40AM. Positioned on her right side, pillows in between legs, and 2 wedges on her back.

12:45PM - 1st Rest Break ended. Diaper was dry. Headed Maureen to the kitchen for lunch.

1:00PM - Lunch - steamed cauliflower, chicken salad, 12 oz coconut water, a cup of lemon water.

Maureen managed to say a few words and enjoyed lunch. Coughed once.

1:25PM - Oral care.

1:40PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd Rest Break. Diaper was medium wet, medium formed bowel movement. We cleaned and changed using Aloe Vesta, applied Cavilon cream. 2nd Break starts @1:55PM. Positioned Maureen on her right side, pillow in between legs, and 2 wedges on her back.

2:56PM - 2nd Rest Break ended. Diaper was dry. Will tranfer Maureen to the front room.

3:00PM - Sister Roberta arrived to do massages with Maureen.

4:00PM - Fruit snack. Maureen snooze back after her snack while Roberta continued to do her massages.

5:10PM - Dinner made by Carolyn - curry chicken with mashed potatoes, a cup of lemon water. Maureen loved it.

5:45PM - Administered Olanzapine with applesauce and 12.5ml Vimpat. Maureen also had half a piece of mint chocolate candy.

Tommy arrived to visit Maureen.

6:00PM - Oral care.

6:20PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet with very small formed bowel movement. Cleaned and changed with Aloe Vesta, applied Cavilon cream. Then, we washed Maureen's upper body using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. No redness on neck observed and abdominal folds as well as the belly button. Slight redness below Maureen's right breast fold, applied light Nystatin.

Then, positioned Maureen on her left side with pillow in between legs and 2 wedges on her back.

6:55PM - Maureen already sleeping.
