September 22 daytime update pt 2

• 12:40pm Rest period #1 ends. Maureen’s diaper is dry. We headed to the kitchen.

• 1:00pm Lunch - a third of a bowl of puréed mushroom&barley soup, tuna sandwich, puréed zucchini, mashed potato salad, and a bottle of organic coconut water.

• 2:00pm We headed to the bedroom for rest period #2. Maureen’s diaper is heavy wet and she had a small, hard, formed bowel movement - we cleaned and changed. Maureen will lie on her left side starting at 2:17pm.

• 3:30pm Rest period #2 ends. Maureen’s diaper is heavy wet - we cleaned and changed and headed to the front room.

• 3:52pm 1/2 fruit smoothie.

• GENERAL OBSERVATION - Maureen had a great afternoon. Lunch went well - Maureen only coughed once and her posture in the Geri chair was excellent. Maureen’s bowel movement this afternoon was hard - she was clearly having trouble pushing on her own. She was unable to expel all of the stool. We recorded no coughs during her smoothie.
