Saturday Sept. 25, 2021 Daytime summary

8:00am, Our day started with a bed bath and change of a medium wet diaper. Maureen was cleaned very well, CAVILON was applied to the area that the pressure sore was and dressed for the day.

8:50am, time for breakfast, first was the thyroid pill with applesauce, then banana, oatmeal, 1/2 cup of prune juice and a full cup of water, the other morning meds were administered with applesauce as well. Dan and Tina stopped by with donuts from Joe Donuts and of course they got Maureen’s favorite, she had to have a red velvet. After thoroughly enjoying the donut, it was time for oral care and cleanup with a warm washcloth.

10:30am, shortly after our visitors left, it was time for a change. Marie and Barb transferred her to her bed where they changed a medium wet diaper with a medium formed BM, also.

After cleaning very well, a fresh diaper was put on, dressed and using the Hoyer lift, Maureen was transferred to the day chair and then recliner for exercises.

12:45pm, transfer to day chair and then bed for a change of medium wet diaper, cleaned up and put fresh diaper on.

1:15pm, transferred to the Geri chair for lunch, 1/2 of a Turkey and cheese sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread, macaroni salad and another full cup of water. Oral care followed and of course, cleanup.

2:45pm, back to bed for another change, heavy wet and a large B, cleaned very well and redressed her.

3:30pm, back in her recliner for some relaxing and fruit snack with another full cup of water.

4:30pm, back to bed and changed medium wet diaper, cleaned, dressed and back out to the recliner.
