Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's on her left side, soundly sleeping.

8:40AM - Maureen opened her eyes, slightly jumpy (no clenched jaw or tight hands) for 5mins. P: 70 bpm, O2: 98%.

Gave her sips of water via swab once she's ready.

9:00AM - We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

BP: 102/58

Neb treatment with saline.

9:20AM - Me and Marie washed her upper body with warm purple wipes. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned her with water and Cetaphil cleanser, and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film with sacrum and cream on inner thighs. Finished dressing and transferred to the front room.

9:40AM - She had 8oz of lemon water before breakfast. Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

Breakfast - scrambled egg with onion and sweet pepper, banana and 8oz apple juice. Maureen coughed 3x and multiple sneezes.

10:20AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine followed.

10:50AM - Out for a walk.

11:55AM - Came back from a nice walk.

We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we placed to face her right side.

12:50PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was still clean and dry, we got Maureen dressed and moved to the front room.

1:00PM - Lunch - shrimp salad, avocado, squash soup and baked apple for dessert. She finished 10moz of coconut water. Maureen ate very well, coughed 2x.

1:40PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen was sitting comfortably on the recliner, looking sleepy and very relaxed.

2:30PM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break is over. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and moved to the front room.

3:45PM - Maureen took 9oz of lemon water. Fruit snack followed (banana, apple and melon).
