Saturday, October 21 Daytime update

• 8:00 am- Maureen is sleeping with Tom by her side.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

• 8:35 am- Maureen is calmly waking up.

• 8:45 am- Maureen is awake. We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:55 am- We started our day with giving Maureen a full body bed bath. Diaper was medium wet. Marie and I cleaned and changed it. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

• 9:15 am- Breakfast- 8 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, oatmeal smoothie with 1 tsp of flaxseed, a couple of spoonfuls of yogurt, cup of water. Maureen coughed twice.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 9:35 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin.

• BP - 110/75.

• 9:45 am- Morning oral care. There was a little blood on Maureen's upper right side while brushing her teeth. We reclined Maureen's chair down one notch fror her comfort.

• 9:50 am- Morning facial routine.

• 10:30 am- Maureen is taking some water from time to time. She finished her first cup of water.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Marie and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:10 am.

• 12:10 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and proceeded with washing Maureen's hair. Headed to the kitchen after.

• 12:25 pm- Drying and styling Maureen's hair.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- beans soup, parm crisps with guacamole, cherry tomato salad, couple of spoonfuls of yogurt, 12 oz of spindrift drink. Maureen enjoyed and finished everything. No coughs.

• 1:00 pm- Oral care. No bleeding, gums look better.

• 1:10 pm- We headed outside for a stroll around the neighborhood.

• 1:40 pm- We returned back home. Maureen is relaxing in the chair, sipping on some water.

• 2:00 pm- Maureen finished her second cup of water.

• 2:10 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was heavy wet. Marie and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:20 pm.

• 3:20 pm- Second rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:35 pm- - Fresh fruit snack- melon, pear and kiwi. No coughs.

• Maureen had a good day today. She smiled a lot, ate well, had plenty of water, had just a couple of coughs. Her energy level was good!
