Saturday, November 25 Daytime update

• 8:00 am- Maureen was in and out of sleep on and off since 6:30 am. Tom was sitting next to, giving her sips of water.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is fully awake. We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Marie and I cleaned and gave her a full body bed bath. There is still redness on her right underarm. Applied a thin layer of nystatin. Applied Cavilon Barrier film on her sacrum area and Cavilon cream. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00 am- Breakfast- 6 oz of prune juice, oatmeal smoothie, a few spoons of yogurt. No coughs during eating. We reclined the chair down.

• 9:25 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin.

• 9:30 am- Maureen started an episode of sneezing a lot and coughing, making her eyes watery and puffy. We used the suction machine constantly. There was lots of saliva and some phlegm too. She calmed down after a few minutes.

• 9:45 am- Morning oral care.

• 9:50 am- Facial routine.

• 10:30 am- Maureen is resting in the chair, having some sips of water.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. She will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:10 am.

• 12:10 pm- Rest break # 1 ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Marie and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and proceeded with washing Maureen's hair. Headed to the kitchen after.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- chicken with potatoes and vegetables soup, tuna salad, fresh tomatoe, 12 oz cup of root beer. Maureen coughed once.

• 1:10 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down one notch.

• 1:30 pm- Maureen is relaxing in the chair.

• 2:15 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bathroom for her second trust bank. Her diaper was dry. We positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:30 PM..

• 3:30 pm- Maureen's second rest break is over. Her diaper was medium wet. Marie and I cleaned and changed her, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45 pm- fresh fruit snack - watermelon, kiwi and pear. No coughs.
