Saturday, March 22, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's already awake - lying on her left side. Tom informed she woke up around 7:30am and took some water via swab.


No signs of any pain or distress.


8:30AM - We placed her in an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.


8:40AM - Me and Marie washed Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes, skin is clear - no redness or rashes. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. Finished dressing and moved to the kitchen.


8:50AM - Maureen had 10oz of lemon water before breakfast.


Breakfast - scrambled egg with tomato and onion, pear and 8oz of prune juice. No cough, sneezed once.


No MiraLAX dose today.


9:40AM - Oral care.


Facial and hand care routine followed. Then, we reclined geri chair one notch after for comfort.


10:30AM - Maureen looked relax and sitting straight on her chair - very much awake.


11:00AM - 100/58, P: 78 bpm


11:30AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.


12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.


12:45PM - Lunch - shrimp salad, fresh tomato and beans and veggie soup. Maureen finished 12 oz of rootbeer and 4 oz of lemon water. Coughed once, sneezed 2x.

**Recliner geri chair one notch for comfort.


1:40PM - Oral care.


2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break, diaper was heavt wet. We cleaned and changed her. Position to face the left side.


3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, we proceed to dressed Maureen and transferred to the front room.


3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).


**Total liquid intake - 34 oz.
