Saturday March 19, 2022 Daytime Summary

8:15am Maureen’s day started with a bed bath after removing a medium wet diaper. The full compliment of CAVILON products were used to clean and protect her skin. Maureen was very talkative the entire time, even full of smiles.

8:40am Marie exercised Maureen’s arms and legs, with Cheryl observing how things are done in caring for her.

9:15am We went to the kitchen for breakfast where Marie administered the thyroid pill with applesauce, followed by a spoonful of honey. Maureen coughed a bit at this point so she had a couple sips of water and she was fine. Banana and oatmeal, accompanied by 1/2 a cup of prune juice and some water, rounded out the breakfast meal. LISINOPRIL and CLARITAN were given with a little applesauce after breakfast was done.

Cleanup and oral care were done as usual, then we adjourned to our he front room for a little Let’s Make a Deal.

11:45am The time has arrived for a change and a rest off of her back side.

Marie and I changed Maureen of a medium wet diaper with a small, loose BM, and put her on her left side, placed the twin wedge pillows and covered her with the light blanket alone.

12:55pm Rest break is over, the ladies changed another medium wet diaper with a small, loose BM and got dressed for lunch.

1:20pm A still, very chatty Maureen was brought out to the kitchen for lunch. Marie prepared 1/2 of a tuna sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread and broccoli, with a cupful of delicious coconut water. Maureen enjoyed every last bit of lunch. Oral care and cleanup followed, without a hitch.

2:20pm Maureen was wheeled into the front room and transferred to the recline, in anticipation of Sister Roberta. Once she arrived, Roberta applied massage and spiritual powers to Maureen, still pretty talkative, Maureen enjoyed the soothing aroma and ambiance, around her.

4:00pm We didn’t realize where the time had gone, we went for a change of a medium wet diaper, and then returned to the recliner for a fresh fruit snack prepared by Marie.
