Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake, lying on her left side. No signs of any pain or distress observed.

8:35AM - We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:50AM - Maureen looking ready to start her day. Me and Marie washed her upper body with warm purple wipes. Red mark on right underarm appears to be light to non-visible (mark is not elevated, maybe caused by friction or area being moist). We cleaned/dried and applied Nystatin on it.

Diaper was medium wet, redness on lower abdomen ( above the mons pubis) looks very light and non-visible (rash is non elevated). We cleaned/dried the area and changed Maureen. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. We got her dressed and transferred to the kitchen.

9:05AM - Breakfast - 8oz prune juice with 1 cap Miralax, pancake with scrambled egg and sausage. Maureen also had 1/4 cup of water. Coughed once.

9:45AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

10:00AM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

10:10AM - Facial and hand care routine.

Applied Triamcinolone Acetonide cream on Maureen's dorsal (back) left hand.

10:40AM - Maureen took another 1/4 cup of water and closed her eyes for a nap after.

11:30AM - We transferred Maureen to her bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we position to face her right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was still clean and dry. We proceed to dressed and transferred Maureen to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch - chicken salad, fresh tomato, chicken-veggie soup and rice pudding for dessert. Maureen ate very well. Coughed once except when liquid is introduced.

General Observation: Maureen coughs everytime she drinks a gulp/sip or 2 of the prune juice or the water(sparkling) today. We have been giving her only very small amount of sip/s of the liquid to prevent her from coughing too much.

1:25PM - Maureen's nose started to drip and heard crackles inside her throat (a little phlegmy since this morning that Maureen was also trying to cough out). We gave her Neb treatment with Saline sol'n.

2:15PM - Maureen had a cup of water.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with small formed BM, we did a clean and change. Then, position to face the left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We got Maureen dressed and moved to the front room.

3:45PM - Maureen took 1/4 cup of water before fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon).
