Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake, calm and lying on her left side. Gave her sips of water via swab. No signs of pain or distress observed besides being phlegmy (heard crackles on her throat, unable to cough it out herself).

8:35AM - We placed Maureen in upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:50AM - Me and Marie started to wash Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. We finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

9:10AM - Breakfast - french toast, banana and a cup of water. Maureen coughed 3x. Used suction machine once.

No MiraLAX dose today.

9:50AM - Neb treatment with Saline Sol'n.

**We decided to give Maureen the treatment due to being phlegmy since this morning. Eating breakfast was a lil bit slow today because of the coughing although Maureen ate very well.

10:20AM - Oral care.

10:30AM - Facial and hand care routine.

11:00AM - Maureen was listening to her music, hands relaxed while sitting on her recliner. No coughing after the Neb treatment.

**Sips of water.

11:30AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. Positioned to face her right side.

12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet. We clean/dried and changed her. Dressed Maureen and moved to the kitchen after.

12:40PM - BP: 108/63, P: 65bpm

Lunch - shrimp salad, beets and sweet pea soup. She had a cup of sparkling water. Maureen ate well. No coughs.

1:20PM - Oral care.

**Maureen stayed awake after lunch, arms a bit tight - had Maureen hold the 2 pear bears to help her relax.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Placed to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Maureen had 3/4 cup of water before the fruit snack (apple and banana).
