Saturday, August 16 , Daytime update

• 8:00 am- Maureen is asleep, comfortably laying on her left side.

• 9:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

• 9:15 am- Maureen opened her eyes. There was a very slight twitching just for a few minutes.

• 9:25 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

• 9:30 am- Maureen’s diaper was dry. Merianne and I washed her upper body, dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

• 9:45 am- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

• Nasal oxygen is ON.

• 9:55 am- Maureen had 10 oz of water with electrolytes. Maureen coughed twice while drinking.

• 10:05 am- Breakfast- Scrambled egg with tomato, onion and cheese,half of pear, 8 oz cup of prune juice. Two coughs, one sneeze.

• 10:40 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with applesauce.

• 10:45 am- Morning oral care.

• 10:45 am- Administered 20 ml of Geri Tussin syrup with applesauce.

• 10:50 am- Maureen closed her eyes.

• 11:20 am- Maureen took a half an hour nap.

  We Va transferred her to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Merianne and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film and Cavilon cream. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:35 am.

• 12:35 pm- First rest break ended. Maureen slept through the whole time. Her diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the living room.

• 12:50 pm- Lunch- Shrimp salad, fresh tomatoe, 10 oz of coconut water. Three coughs, sneezed once.

• 1:30 pm- Oral care.

• 1:35 pm- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

• 2:30 pm- Maureen slept for almost an hour. We transferred her to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was medium wet and she had an extra large formed bowel movement. Merianne and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned her on the right side side.

  Maureen closed her eyes right after.

• 3:30 pm- Maureen’s second rest break is over. She slept the whole time. Diaper was heavy wet with a large formed bowel movement. Merianne and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred to the recliner.

• 3:50 pm- Administered 20 ml of Geri Tussin expectorant.

• 3:55 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, apple and banana.

• Maureen had 10 oz of lemon water.

• 4:30 pm- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

• 5:00 pm- Dinner- Sslmon, boiled potatoes, steamed veggies mix, Maureen coughed once.

• 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

• 6:10 pm- Evening oral care.

• 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Diaper was medium wet and she had a large soft bowel movement. She had a little vaginal discharge and there was a brownish spot on the diaper. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Cleaned / wiped her face and applied Cetaphil lotion to her legs and feet. Positioned Maureen on her left side.

• Maureen had 38!oz of liquid today. She looked tired and sleepy. Coughing was minimal.
