Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023 - Daytime Summary

7:30AM - According to Marie when she came in, Maureen was slightly awake - closing and opening her eyes from time to time.

8:00AM - Maureen still looking sleepy. We will give her more time before we start her day.

8:30AM - Maureen looking awake and ready to start the day. Raised bed and in upright position, administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:40AM - We gave Maureen a full body bath using warmed purple wipes and Aloe Vesta. Slight redness on abdominal folds observed, we applied Nystatin. Diaper was dry. Cleaned and changed. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacral area and Cavilon cream on diaper folds. Finished dressing, transferred Maureen to the kitchen for breakfast.

9:00AM - BP: 145/96, 47bpm

*We tried to get another BP reading however, we are getting error message this time. We will try it again after breakfast.

9:10AM - Breakfast - oatmeal/fruit smoothie, 4oz of prune juice with 1/4 cap MiraLAX. Coughed 2x, sneezed 4x.

9:35AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

9:40AM - Nebulizer with Saline Sol'n.

9:55AM - BP: 151/96, 45bpm

10:00AM - Administered 50mg Kapspargo Sprinkle (Metoprolol) with yogurt.

10:15AM - Facial and hand care. Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

10:25AM - Maureen snoozing on her chair.

11:05 - Transferred Maureen to her bedroom for 1st Rest Break. Diaper was medium wet, redness on abdominal folds looking better. Cleaned and changed. Positioned Maureen on her right side starting at 11:15AM.

12:15PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry. We proceed to washing Maureen's hair. Tranferred to the kitchen to blow dry and style her hair.

12:45PM - Lunch - potato salad, chicken salad, 3tsp of yogurt, and a cup of sparkling water. No coughs.

Reclined geri chair one notch because Maureen tends to lean forward.

1:30PM - Oral care.

2:15PM - BP: 110/92, 74bpm

Then, transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd Rest Break. Diaper was very heavy wet. Cleaned and changed thoroughly. Positioned Maureen on her left side starting at 2:30PM.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Transferred Maureen to the front room.

3:45PM - Maureen enjoyed her fruit snack (Melon mixed with honey dew).
