Saturday 12-7-24 Daytime Summary

8:10am Marie raised the bed to administer the LEVOTHYROXINE pill with some applesauce.

8:20am we lowered the bed and started giving Maureen a bed bath and clean/change, from a heavy wet diaper … no discharge was present.

8:50am After dressing for the day, transfer to the kitchen was done. Maureen had half a cup of lemon water once situated at the table, followed by 1/2 cap of MIRALAX, mixed in 6oz of prune juice. Marie prepared a delicious breakfast smoothie which Maureen seemed to enjoy while listening to some cheery Christmas music.

9:25am after the smoothie was finished, a container of Activia yogurt was given, along with her LORATADINE pill. Maureen finished another 1/2 cup of lemon water.

Maureen coughed 3 times and produced some phlegm twice , which she was able to expel herself.

9:35am Marie reclined the Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

9:55am Oral care, facial care and a pea sized amount of TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE was massaged onto the spot on her left hand. We will transfer to the front room for a little tv time.

11:00AM - Maureen looking relax and sleepy while watching The Grinch in the front room - stayed awake.

11:30AM - Me and Marie moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, no vaginal discharges. Position to face the right side.

12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with medium cloudy vaginal discharges. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the kitchen.

12:40PM - Lunch was chicken salad, potato salad and chicken soup. She had a cup of coconut water and half a cup of lemon water. She ate very well. Coughed 2x.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

1:25PM - Oral care.

1:45PM - Maureen was comfortably sitting while listening to the Christmas music. She had another half a cup of lemon water.

**Maureen is less phlegmy today.

2:15PM - We moved her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the left side.

3:20PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We proceed to dress Maureen and transferred to the front room.

3:30PM - Maureen had sips of water.

Sister Roberta arrived for Maureen's massage therapy.

3:50PM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap while massage is on going.

4:15PM - Fruit snack time (cantaloupe, kiwi and pear). Maureen had half a cup of lemon water. Coughed 2x.

5:00PM - Maureen is dry.

5:10PM - Dinner - Swedish meatballs with pasta in a sour cream sauce. Maureen finished half a cup of lemon water. No coughs.

**Maureen was sleepy and closing her eyes while eating dinner but was still chewing pretty well.

5:50PM - Administered 5mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce and 12.5ml of Vimpat.

6:20PM - Oral care.

6:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream on folds. Applied Cetaphil lotion on face, hands and legs. Position to face the left side with 2 wedges on the back and pillow in between legs.

6:45PM - Maureen is sleeping.
