8:00 Maureen is awake enough, we raised the bed and administered her LEVOTHYROXINE with some applesauce.

8:15 we started to wash Maureen and found the spots on her right calf, have almost faded away.

After changing a heavy wet diaper and dressing, we transferred to the kitchen for breakfast.

9:00 Maureen is given her first dose of ACYCLOVIR, of the day, followed by a full breakfast consisting of a scrambled egg, pancake, and a little honeydew melon. 8oz of prune juice with a full cap of MIRALAX, a container of Activia yogurt, is accompanying breakfast.

10:00 Oral and facial care are performed by Marie, along with the pea sized amount of TRIAMCINOLNE cream on her left hand, on that rough spot. Maureen is still awake, listening to the Christmas music on the IPad.

11:15 After a small snooze, it’s time for dose #2 of ACYCLOVIR, with applesauce, of course.

Maureen finished a cup of water, along with everything else.

11:30 vitals are … B/P 100 over 60

Pulse is 73

Time for rest break #1, we clean and changed a medium sized, loose BM and medium wet diaper. Got her set up on her right side, propped up by her wedge pillows.

12:50 We gave Maureen a little extra time, due to the cleanup earlier … but now it’s lunchtime!

She is still dry, so we got dressed and transferred to the kitchen. I prepared 1/2 a chicken salad sandwich, cut up, and poured a cup of sparkling water. She finished everything, including another full cup of water. Around 1:45, Marie administered dose #3 of the ACYCLOVIR.

2:40 We transferred to the bedroom for rest break #2, as expected, we had to clean and change from a heavy wet diaper and set her on her left side … resting for the next hour.

3:45 Rest break #2 ends, dry diaper, so we dressed and transferred to the front room.

ACYCLOVIR, dose #4 is administered with some applesauce, a little water to wash it down, and on to a highly anticipated fruit snack, consisting of watermelon, kiwi and pear … as of this writing, the HAWKS just scored, to get on the board!
