Saturday 12/10/2022 Daytime summary

6:30am Maureen is in and out of sleep, I went to lay down with her.

We both fell back asleep for about 1/2 hour.

7:15am She was still sleeping, I had to unlock the door for the ladies. Still lying down, she drifted in and out of sleep again. Everything has been fine this morning, no issues at all.

For some reason, Dalia is not getting the option to create a post, even though she has access to the site. We’ll try to figure it out as the day goes on …

8:15am Marie and Dalia came in the room to get the day started. A full bed bath was performed, clean and change of a medium wet diaper, and morning exercises followed.

9:15am Maureen was transferred to the Geri chair and brought out to the kitchen for breakfast.

Levothyroxine with applesauce was administered, oatmeal with banana, prune juice were on the menu today.

10:10am Breakfast is now complete, clean up and oral care are performed. A nice facial treatment and the Geri chair was reclined back so Maureen can relax for a while.

11:06am Maureen is still sleeping in her Geri chair, very relaxed. Around 11:15, she started to wake up.

11:20am Fruit smoothie time, enjoyed every last drop.

11:55am The ladies transferred her to the bedroom, diaper was medium wet, cleaned up using the CAVILON spray and at 12:15, she was placed on her right side to start rest break #1, enjoying a massage.

1:10pm Rest break ends, she’s dry. To get back on schedule, the ladies washed her hair and transferred to the kitchen for lunch … shrimp salad, Brussel sprouts, vegetable soup and a bottle of coconut water.

1:45pm Cleanup and oral care were performed.

2:10pm Transfer to the bedroom for rest #2, while changing a medium wet diaper, a large formed BM and urinated again to make it a heavy wet.

She was placed on her left side, with the massage on.

2:50pm Rest brea #2 is cut short for the return of Sister Robert, so the transfer to the front room was completed.

4:00pm Fresh fruit snack time … Maureen is totally enjoying life, massage, fruit snack … is there anything better???
