October 31 daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is awake. She is having an episode that, per Tom, started around 7:54am. Involuntary twitching, eyes wide open, blank stare. She is not receptive to water.

  • Vitals: Pulse 78, O2 93%.

• 8:06am Maureen is coming to. She is receptive to water. Twitching has lessened and she is blinking her eyes in a normal fashion.

• 8:30am Maureen is sound asleep. She is lying on her left side.

• 9:00am Maureen continues to sleep.

• 9:30am Maureen is asleep.

• 9:43am Maureen coughed once. She is still asleep.

• 9:50am Maureen is waking up.

• 10:05am Maureen is awake. Joanna and I helped Maureen up to a sitting position in bed. Administered 75mcg Levothyroxine and 160mg Tylenol with applesauce. Sips of water to follow via swab.

• 10:20am We begin our day with a partial bed bath using warmed wipes from the purple packet. Diaper is heavy wet - Joanna and I performed a clean and change. Applied Cavilon barrier film to sacral area and Cavilon barrier cream to appropriate areas. We finished dressing and headed to the kitchen using the Hoyer lift.

• 10:33am Administered Loratidine.

• 10:36am Breakfast - smoothie, serving of Activia yogurt, 6 oz prune juice.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage - 1/2 cap

• 11:13am Oral care.

• 11:18am Joanna and I reclined Maureen's geri chair down one notch for her comfort.

• 11:30am Morning facial routine.

• 11:39am Nebulizer treatment.

• 11:55am BP 118/72.

• 12:00pm We headed to the bedroom for rest break #1. Maureen's diaper is dry. Joanna and I helped Maureen to her right side. Rest break #1 begins at 12:07pm.

• 1:00pm Rest break #1 ends. Maureen's diaper is dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 1:12pm Steak fajita from Chipotle. 8 oz Harmless Harvest coconut water. Maureen sneezed twice.

  • The steak fajita proved to be too chewy for Maureen. We will serve Maureen a serving of tuna salad instead.

• 2:00pm Oral care.

• 2:33pm We headed to the bedroom for rest break #2. Maureen's diaper is dry. Maureen will like on her left side for one hour starting at 2:40pm.
