October 25 daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen is sound asleep. She is lying on her left side.

  • 8:30am Maureen is slowly stirring. She is in and out of sleep.

  • 8:45am Maureen is awake. We will begin our day shortly.

  • 8:52m Tom and I helped Maureen to a sitting position in bed. Administered 75 mcg Levothyroxine.

  • 9:05am We begin with a partial bed bath using warmed wipes from the purple packet. No redness noticed. Maureen's diaper is heavy wet - Tom and I performed a clean and change. Applied Cavilon barrier film to the sacral area and Cavilon barrier cream to appropriate areas. We finished dressing and headed to the kitchen using the Hoyer lift.

  • 9:35am Administered 500mg Metronidazole and 10mg Loratidine with breakfast smoothie. Serving of Activia yogurt, 6 oz prune juice, Cup of water.

  • Daily MiraLAX dosage - 1/2 cap

  • 9:56am Oral care.

  • 10:00am Tom and I reclined Maureen's geri chair down one notch for her comfort.

  • 10:10am Morning facial routine.

  • 11:00am BP 102/64.

  • 11:30am We headed to the bedroom for rest break #1. Maureen's diaper is dry. Tom and I helped Maureen to her right side. Rest break #1 begins at 11:40am.

  • 12:40pm Rest break #1 ends. Maureen's diaper is dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen using the Hoyer lift.

  • 1:25pm Lunch - venison burger, sliced tomato, mixed vegetables, cup of water, cup of root beer.

  • 2:03pm Oral care.

  • 2:10pm Tom and I reclined Maureen's geri chair down one notch for her comfort.

  • 2:30pm We headed to the bedroom for rest break #2. Maureen's diaper is dry. Tom and I helped Maureen to her left side. Rest break #2 starts at 2:40pm.

  • 3:40pm Rest break #2 ends. Maureen's diaper is dry. We dressed and headed to the front room using the Hoyer lift.

  • 3:55pm Fruit snack.
