October 25 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen has been awake for the most part. Maya checked the diaper at this time. It is slightly wet.

• Maureen's day officially began @ 8:15AM. She is rather chipper. Her diaper was medium wet. Maya and Colleen performed the standard clean and change process using 3M Cavilon Cleansing Spray and Barrier Cream.

• Pressure ulcer area update> Maya and I examined the area. We feel it looks much better and continues to heal nicely. The pressure ulcer area is smaller and more pink/less red. See the attached image gallery.

• Breakfast service commenced @ 8:45AM. Maya began by administering the thyroid medication. Maureen's posture in the geri chair is very good. Currently, she is alert and engaged. Colleen took point on the feeding process.

• Maureen will consume approximately 4 ounces of prune juice this morning.

• Daily MiraLAX dose: None

• 9:17AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication. We continue to refrain from giving Maureen baby aspirin.

• 9:20AM - Morning oral care routine commences

• 10:30AM - Organic fruit smoothie

• 11.00AM- We took Maureen to the bedroom fo a change . The diaper was wet and had a medium size, soft BM in it. We cleaned Maureen using the Aloe Vesta cleansing foam and FitRight aloe wipes. Put a new diaper on and turn Maureen on her left side with two wedge pillows behind her back for an hour.

• 12.20PM- After laying for an hour Maureen is ready for lunch. Her diaper was wet and there was a large soft BM. After cleaning thoroughly with the foam cleanser and wipes, we applied a Cavilon Barrier Cream and put a new pull up on. Transferred Maureen to the Gerri chair and headed to the kitchen.

• 12.45PM-Lunch time. Maureen had a half of Jersey Mike’s turkey and provolone sandwich. She also enjoyed a bottle of coconut water.

• 1.50PM- Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a change. The diaper was wet. Cleaned with Cavilon skin cleanser spray. Used Cavilon Barrier Cream and put a new diaper on. Turned Maureen on her right side for an hour with the two wedge pillows behind her back.

• 3.00PM-Maureen’s diaper was wet. Cleaned with the Cavilon cleanser spray and put a new diaper on. Transferred Maureen to the transport chair and headed to the front room.

• 3.30PM-Fruit time.
