October 19 daytime update

• .Maureen began her day @ 8:05AM.. The diaper is dry. Wednesday is bed bath day. Click/tap here for a detailed overview of the process Maya and I use each week -

• Breakfast service began @ 8:42AM. Posture in the geri chair is near perfect. We used the two green wedge pillows and the red couch pillow to set Maureen up perfectly. Click/tap here for detailed overview of the entire breakfast service process Maya and I use each day.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• Maureen will consume 8 ounces of prune juice.

• 9:30AM - Morning oral care routine

• 9:36AM - We tilted the geri chair back one level for Maureen's comfort and to relieve stress off of her sacrum.

• 9:37AM - Morning facial routine

• 10:32AM - Organic fruit smoothie

• General observations @ 10:45AM> This morning was a mixed bag. Maureen had good energy, engagement and communication at the start oft the day. It began to dissipate quickly. She coughed seven times during breakfast—a few were of the grinding variety. She also coughed seven times during the smoothie service—the large majority of then were "grinding" coughs. Maureen nodded off on several occasions as the morning progressed.

• 11:00AM - We transported Maureen to the bedroom in advance of RB#1. Diaper was medium wet. Maya and I completed a clean & change and the placed Maureen on her right side.

• 11:15AM - RB#1 begins.

• 12:15PM - RB#1 ends, Diaper is dry. We dressed Maureen and prepped her for a hair shampoo.

• 12:38 - Lunch | Maya prepared a serving gf pureed Chesapeake Bay Shrimp Salad, 1/2 a bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup and a serving of roasted root vegetables. Maureen will also consume one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water.

• 1:35PM- Afternoon oral care

• General observations @ 1:45PM> Maureen n had a better stretch during the lunch period. She was more energetic and communicative. Coughing continued to be a challenge—9 coughs and a number of them were of the "grinding" red-faced variety.

• 2:05PM - To bedroom to prepare for an abbreviated RB#2.Diaper is light wet. After completing a clean & change, Maya and I place dMaureen on her left side.

• 2:19PM - RB#2 begins

• 3:05PM - RB#2 ends. Diaper is dry. We dressed Maureen and transported her to the front room for the remainder of the afternoon.

• 3:25PM - Fruit snack
