November 10 daytime update

• Maureen has been awake since 6:30AM

• Maya checked the diaper at 6:40AM. It was dry.

• Maureen's day began @ 8:11AM. Maureen is in good spirits but somewhat subdued. The diaper was medium wet. We gave Maureen what is now her regularly scheduled Wednesday bed bath. As a part of this process, we inspected the right inner forearm/elbow and the areas immediately under both breasts. The former is completely healed and deserves no further attention. Maya and I did detect a slight red line under both breasts. She applied a very thin layer of Nystatin ointment to both areas. We also notice a slight red mark high up under Maureen's left armpit. This area warrants further observation in the days ahead; however, we did not apply Nystatin ointment to it. The last thing Maya did was to apply 3M Cavilon Barrier Cream and No-Sting Barrier Film to the appropriate areas.

• Breakfast service began @ 8:50AM. Maya started by administering the thyroid medication. Posture is good. Maureen is alert and engaged for the most part. Maureen coughed seven times during breakfast. This is more than double her typical average of three.

• 9:30AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication.

• 9:39AM - Morning oral care routine commences. Maya inspected the upper right gum area. She said, "It is much improved and only slightly inflamed."

• 9:50AM - Maya cleaned Maureen eyelashes with Johnson's Baby Shampoo and warm water. As a last step, she put drops in Maureen's eyes.

• 10:25AM - Organic fruit smoothie time. Maureen handled the smoothie well. She coughed only once.

• 10:50AM - The first scheduled rest break of the day is fast approaching. We took Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was light wet. Maya completed a standard clean and change. We then positioned Maureen on her right side.

• 11:03AM - Maureen will lay on her right side for the next hour.

• 12:00PM - First rest break concludes. Diaper was medium wet. Maya performed a standard clean and change. We prepared Maureen for her shampoo and styling appointment with KAMA.

• 12:10PM - The world famous duo of KAMA once again plied their plethora of skills to shampoo and sculpt Maureen's hair. It was truly a transcendent experience for your humble correspondent.

• 12:50PM - Lunch | 1/2 a tuna salad sandwich on toasted whole wheat, 1/2 a bowl of mushroom and broccoli soup and a serving of asparagus. Maureen also drank 1 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water.

• Maya put a fresh set of linens on Maureen's bed.

• 1:30PM - Afternoon oral care session

• 1:50PM - Second rest period approaches. We took Maureen to the bedroom. The diaper was medium wet. Maya performed a standard clean and change. We proceeded to position on Maureen on her left side.

• 2:06PM - Maureen will now rest on her left side for one hour.

• 3:06PM - Rest period #2 concludes. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. She had a medium size soft bowel movement. Maya performed a thorough clean and change. We proceeded to the front room to watch the latest episode of TPIR.

• 3:25PM - Fruit snack. Maureen coughed three times during the fruit snack.

• Total coughs during meals were 15—Breakfast: 7, Smoothie: 1, Lunch: 4 and Fruit snack: 3.
