Monday Sept. 20, 2021 Swingshift update

4:00, Maureen was relaxing in her recliner,?we were watching some game shows, drinking some water on occasion. A couple catnaps were enjoyed in between the shows, the low moaning was sporadic this afternoon/early evening.

6:15, we took Maureen to the bathroom, her pull-ups was heavy wet, no activity on the commode after 10 minutes, she was cleaned very well and a fresh pull-ups was put on.

6:30, after a couple more manual transfers, it’s dinner time, we are finishing off the stuffed pepper casserole and salad from late last week. A full cup of water was drank during dinner, too.

7:10, 5mg OLANZAPINE with vanilla pudding and 7.5ml of VIMPAT were given, followed by oral care, removal of partials, cleanup with warm washcloth, changing to a fresh t-shirt and Cetaphil applied to face, arms and hands.

7:30, After transferring to the bed using the Hoyer lift, we changed her medium wet pull-ups, cleaned up and prepared a fresh diaper, applied MUPIROCIN, Vick’s and CICLOPIROX.

Laying on her right side and propped up with two pillows, she was asleep by about 8:15.
