Monday October 25, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying in the recliner.

• 5:30pm Maureen’s diaper is now wet so we headed to the bedroom for a change. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. We cleaned up using the 3M cleanser spray and put on a new diaper. Transferred Maureen to the Geri chair after using the Hoyer lift.

• 6:24pm Maureen just finished her dinner. She enjoyed a delicious chicken enchilada casserole with garden fresh green peppers courtesy of chef Carolyn. She also consumed one and a half cups of water.

• 6:41pm We trimmed and filed Maureen’s fingernails.

• 7:06pm Administered 5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding, 7.5mL VIMPAT, and a dose of FLONASE in each nostril. Oral care, facial cleanse, and application of Cetaphil moisturizing lotion to face, hands, and arms followed after.

• 7:40pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Her diaper is wet - cleaned with 3M cleanser spray, applied Cavilon barrier cream to inner thighs, and put on a fresh diaper. Ciclopirox applied to both right and left big toe. Vicks applied to chest. Body pillows placed on either side of bed. Head of the bed elevated. Maureen is lying on her left side with two green wedge pillows placed behind her and the white block pillow placed in between her legs.
