Monday, Oct 23, 2025 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen calmly woke, accepted a couple sips of water via swab and immediately went back to sleep.

• 8:30am Maureen’s asleep.

• 9:00am Maureen sleeps soundly.

• 9:28am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:30am Albuterol Neb treatment.

• 9:42am Marianne and I started the day by giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper with a very small vaginal discharge, applied skin protective barrier film to sacrum, Medline Remedy cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen for breakfast.

• 10:00am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

• 10:02amBreakfast: 9oz lemon water, pouched egg with banana and 4oz warm ginger tea with honey. Maureen coughed three times during meal. She was able to get rid of plenty of phlegm with the assistance of the suction pump.

• 10:15am Shelly, RN arrives for Maureen’s weekly visit:

  Lungs are clear

  Temp: 97.9

  Pulse: 64

  BP: 118/64

• Carolyn and Coleen visit Maureen.

• 11:30am Oral care followed by eyes wash/drops and facial routine.

• 11:45am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

• 12:40pm First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the kitchen for lunch.

• 12:55pm Lunch: Chicken/rice soup (blended), avocado and 10oz coconut water. Maureen coughed three times during meal.

• 1:25pm Oral care.

• 1:35pm We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. Although she was tired, she stayed awake.

• Back home, Maureen had 10oz of electrolyte drink.

• 2:40pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her right side.

• 3:35pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:50pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple).

• Total liquids ingested: 33oz.
