Monday, Nov. 11, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake - calm and comfortable while lying on her left side, looking sleepy.

8:30AM - Maureen's eyes half way close. We will give her time.

8:50AM - In an upright position, we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:05AM - Me and Dalia gave Maureen a full body bed bath, used warm water with Cetaphil cleanser. No redness or rashes on skin. Diaper was dry with small yellowish vaginal discharge. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. Dressed and proceed to wash her hair, and we transferred to the kitchen after to blow dry and style Maureen's hair.

9:25AM - Gave Maureen 8 oz prune juice with 1 cap Miralax.

MiraLAX dose today - 1 cap

**Proceed to dry hair.

Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort after fixing her hair.

9:40AM - Breakfast - oatmeal/fruit smoothie and Activia yogurt. Maureen also had 3/4 cup of lemon water. Coughed 3x, multiple sneezes. Used suction once to aid in taking out the phlegm.

10:00AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

10:10AM - Oral care.

10:15AM - Eye care/ eye drops routine. Facial and hand care routine, followed.

***Maureen has been phlegmy since this morning when we got her up. She has been trying to cough to get rid of it.

10:40AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap - looking relaxed.

11:15AM - She opener her eyes. Applied a pea-size of Triamcinolone Acetonide cream on the dorsal (back) left hand.

BP: 103/60, P: 79bpm

11:30AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. No discharges. Position to face her right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, no discharges. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

12:42PM - Lunch was shrimp salad, fresh tomato and chicken-rice soup. Maureen had a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

**Reclined geri chair one notch prior to eating for comfort.

1:20PM - Oral care.

1:40PM - Neb treatment - saline soln.

**Coughed during treatment, she was able to cough it out with the aid of suction machine.

2:00PM - Carolyn arrived. Maureen was comfortably sitting on her chair - listening to the music.

**Maureen had 3/4 cup of water.

2:30PM - Time for the 2nd rest break, we transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet, no vaginal discharges. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:30PM - Maureen had cat naps while on bed. 2nd rest break ended, diaper was clean and dry - no vaginal discharges. We dressed her and transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - She had 1/4 cup ginger tea. Fruit snacks followed (kiwi, pear and melon).
