Monday, June 3, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake however, looking sleepy when I came in, she's calmly lying on her left side. As per Tom, she woke up around 6:15am, a little distress and a quick one - nothing major.

8:15AM - Maureen closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

8:45AM - Maureen slowly opened her eyes to wake up, will wait atleast 5-8mins to give her the morning pill.

In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:00AM - Me and Tom started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then, transferred to the kitchen.

9:10AM - Breakfast started with 6oz prune juice with 1/4 cap MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Maureen also had 1/2 cup of lemon water.

**Maureen coughed once prior to breakfast and we used suction machine to take out the phlegm.

MiraLAX daily dose - 1/4 cap

9:35AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:45AM - Oral care.

9:50AM - Eye care/eye drops routine. Followed by facial and hand care routine.

10:00AM - We went out for a walk.

10:40AM - Came back from walk which Maureen enjoyed, she was awake the whole time. Nice breezy weather outside.

**Maureen had quarter a cup of lemon water.

11:00AM - BP: 110/65, P: 54 bpm

**Maureen took a 15min nap while reclined on her wheelchair.

11:25AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was dry. We position to face her right side.

12:35PM- 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed Maureen. Then, transferred to the kitchen after dressing her.

12:45PM - Lunch was chicken salad, fresh cut tomato, chicken soup and crackers. Maureen had a piece of Milano cookie for dessert. Finished a cup of sparkling water. She coughed once.

**We reclined geri chair one notch prior to lunch for Maureen's comfort.

1:30PM - Oral care.

2:15PM - Maureen's looking relaxed while sitting on her recliner while listening to her fave music. She had a cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - It's time for Maureen's 2nd rest break. We moved her to the bedroom, diaper was medium wet. We cleaned/dried and changed her, then position to face her left side.

**Reading and working on to finish the Danielle Steel novel.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, me and Luda cleaned and changed Maureen then, proceed to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
