Monday June 28, 2021 Swingshift Update

4:00pm Maureen is lying in the recliner having just returned from a trip to the bathroom. Maureen seems less energetic than usual and not talkative.
5:30pm Maureen’s pull-up remains dry.
5:00pm Carolyn is here for a visit.
5:50pm Maureen’s diaper is still dry so we decide to skip our usual trip to the bathroom before dinner.
6:05pm Dinner time courtesy of Carolyn. Maureen ate halibut, gnocchi, mango salad, and asparagus. She also had some pineapple sherbet for dessert and drank one cup of water. Maureen sat upright unassisted for about 40 minutes and began to slump forward and to her left.
7:14pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.
7:48pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is dry. Put on a fresh diaper. No redness observed. Maureen hasn’t urinated since her last trip to the bathroom. Removed socks and applied Vicks to chest. Pillow placed between Maureen’s legs. Maureen is lying on her right side.
