Monday, Jan. 13, 2025 -Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake, looking relaxed while lying on her left side. No signs of pain or distress observed.

8:35AM - We placed Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:50AM - Me and Dalia started to give Maureen a full body bed bath. No redness or rashes on skin. Diaper was dry with very small, brownish spot. We cleaned, dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. We finished dressing and washed her hair after.

9:15AM - We transferred to the kitchen to blow-dry and styled Maureen's hair.

Gave her 8 oz prune juice with 1 cap Miralax and Activia yogurt.

Administered 10mg of Loratadine with yogurt as well.

..continue to blow-dry the hair.

9:30AM - Gave Maureen the rest of her breakfast which is pancake with blueberry jam, and a cup of water. She coughed 2x.

10:15AM - Oral care.

10:20AM - Eye care/eye drops routine.

Facial and hand care routine followed.

10:50AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap. Looking a little bit tired but relaxed while sitting on her chair.

11:35AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face her right side.

Barb arrived to visit Maureen.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, we proceed to get her dressed and transferred to the kitchen.

12:50PM - Lunch - chicken-cabbage soup, guacamole and a cup of sparkling water. She had blueberry scones from Barb for dessert. She ate pretty well. Maureen coughed once and sneezed 3x.

1:35PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen had half a cup of water. Looking more active and with energy than early this morning.

2:30PM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet with very small soft BM. We cleaned and changed her, and position to face the left side after.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and moved to the front room.

3:45PM - She had half a cup of water and fruit snack followed (kiwi, pear and melon).
