Monday, Dec. 9, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was sleeping, lying on her left side.

8:15AM - Maureen opened her eyes slightly and went back to sleep 10mins after.

8:40AM - Maureen woke up, looking calm and relaxed. No signs of any distress. We waited 8mins and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

BP: 102/61, P: 64 bpm

8:50AM - Me and Dalia gave Maureen a full body bed bath, skin is clear from rashes or redness. Diaper was clean and dry. We finished dressing and proceed to wash Maureen's hair. Transferred to the kitchen after to blow-dry and style her hair.

9:15AM - Gave Maureen the 6oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax. She also had half a cup of water.

..continue to dry hair. **Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

9:30AM - Maureen had french toast for breakfast, yogurt and finished the half cup of water. She ate well. Coughed once.

MiraLAX dose today - 1/2 cap.

9:50AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with yogurt.

10:00AM - Oral care.

10:10AM - Eye care and eye drops routine.

Facial and hand care routine.

10:40AM - Maureen is closing her eyes for a nap.

11:30AM - Maureen opened her eyes as we are about to transfer her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was still clean and dry. Position to face the right side.

12:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with small yellowish vaginal discharge. We cleaned and changed Maureen. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrun and Cavilon cream on folds then, transferred to the kitchen

12:40PM - Lunch - shrimp salad, guacamole and bean soup. She finished a cup of sparkling water. Coughed 3x, sneezed once.

1:15PM - Oral care.

1:40PM - We moved to the front room to watch funny videos of animals/pets. We reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

**Carolyn arrived to visit Maureen.

2:20PM - Maureen coughed out medium amour of phlegm. She had half a cup of water.

2:30PM - Time for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. Position to face the left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed Maureen. Finished dressing and transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Maureen had 1/3 cup of water. Fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon) followed.
