Monday, Aug. 4, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's lying on her left side, O2 via nasal cannula at 95%. Her eyes slightly open.

8:35AM - Maureen closed her eyes, went back to sleep.

9:10AM - Maureen opened her eyes, looking more awake and ready to start her day. No signs of distress or pain - looking calm. We placed her on her back and in an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

BP: 103/55, P: 62, O2: 96%

9:35AM - Neb treatment with albuterol.

**Maureen sound better today, no coughing so far.

9:50AM - Me and Dalia gave Maureen a full body bed bath using tepid water with cleanser. Diaper was dry with very small, yellowish v. discharge. We cleaned and changed. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. We finished dressing and moved to the front room.

10:10AM - Cleaned Maureen's nostrils with Saline mist, gave O2 via nasal cannula at 2L/min, O2 Sat at 95%.

She had 10oz of lemon water before breakfast. Coughed (dry) 2x. Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

Breakfast - waffle, banana and 5 oz water (with electrolyte powder). No coughs while eating, did 2 dry coughs with liquid.

10:45AM - Administered 7.5ml expectorant.

11:00AM - Maureen had one wet cough with phlegm, used suction machine to take it out.

**Maureen shows a significant improvement from the previous days, woke up with energy and less coughing - so far.

11:15AM - Administered 1 tab Tylenol (crushed) 500mg with apple sauce.

2 productive/wet cough, suction machine used.

11:30AM - Carolyn arrived.

11:40AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. We position to face her right side.

12:15PM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.

1:15PM - She's still sleeping.

Shelly, RN arrived for Maureen's weekly nurse visit.

1:25PM - Maureen woke up, slightly jumpy that lasted 3-5mins.

1:40PM - Diaper was still clean and dry, we proceed to dressed Maureen and transferred to the front room.

1:50PM - Lunch - a bowl of chicken-veggie soup (blended/thick) and 2oz apple sauce. Coughed 4-5times (dry).

2:45PM - Neb treatment with albuterol.

**Shelly, RN updated that she heard less congestion in her lungs. BP: 99/63

3:30PM - We transferred Maureen for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was still clean and dry, we

position to face her right side. O2 sat at 95%.

**Total liquid intake - 17oz
