Monday, Aug. 25, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's already awake, she's calmly lying on her left side - had sips of water via swab.

8:15AM - Maureen was still looking sleepy and eventually went back to close her eyes to sleep.

8:40AM - She opened her eyes, still looking a but sleepy but enough to start her day. O2 at 95%. We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

Neb treatment with saline.

9:00AM - Me and Dalia gave Maureen a full body bed bath using warm water with Cetaphil cleanser. Diaper was medium wet with very light yellowish spot. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. We dressed Maureen and washed her hair.

9:25AM - We transferred to the kitchen. Maureen took 10oz of lemon water. Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce. Maureen coughed out phlegm once by herself.

Breakfast - waffle with syrup, banana and 8 oz water with electrolyte powder. Coughed once and took out another phlegm on her own.

10:00AM - Oral care.

10:05AM - Eye care/ eye drops routine.

Facial and hand care routine.

10:15AM - Went out for a walk.

10:50AM - Arrived home.

Shelly, RN already here for Maureen's weekly nurse visit. Lungs clear. Bowel sounds heard from the stomach.

BP: 98/70

P: 78bpm

11:25AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for the 1st rest break, diaper was clean and dry. We position to face her right side.

11:50AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.

12:30PM - Maureen had a 25min nap. Rest break is over. Diaper was still clean and dry. We dressed her and transferred to the front room.

12:40PM - Lunch - a bowl of mini meatball and rice soup and fresh avocado. She finished 8oz of 9oz of coconut water. Coughed 2x.

1:20PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen is relaxing on the recliner.

Maureen took 3oz of tea.

2:25PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.

3:25PM - 2nd rest break is over. Diaper was heavy wet with large formed BM. We cleaned and changed her, got dressed and moved to the front room.

3:40PM - Fruit snack (banana, apple and melon). She took 2oz before the fruit snack.

Total liquid intake - 31 oz
