Monday, Apr. 7, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen is on her left side, sleeping soundly.

8:40AM - She's still sleeping.

9:00AM - Maureen's slowly waking up, no signs of distress or pain. Waited for her to be fully awake before we placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

BP: 101/58, P: 60bpm

9:18AM - Me and Dalia gave her a full body bed bath using warm water and Cetaphil

cleanser, no redness on upper body. Diaper was dry, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Calazinc cream on the labia which still has a very light redness. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. We dressed Maureen and proceed to wash her hair.

9:40AM - We transferred to the kitchen for a quick hair blow-dry and styling. **We reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

Maureen had 10oz of lemon water before breakfast. She had a boiled egg, pear and 8oz of prune juice. Maureen coughed 2x.

10:10AM - Oral care.

10:15AM - Eye care and eye drops routine. Facial and hand care routine followed.

10:40AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap. Looking relax. Nose is not runny today.

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch - tuna salad, beets and sweet pea soup. She had 10oz of sparkling water. Maureen ate well. Coughed 2x.

**Reclined geri chair one notch before lunch for comfort.

1:20PM - Maureen appears to be tired and coughing just to trying to get rid of the phlegm. She's quiet today but still gave us some smiles.

Oral care.

1:45PM - Barb arrived for a visit.

2:00PM - Neb treatment with saline.

Maureen had 4oz lemon water.

2:30PM - It's time for Maureen's 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Inserted suppository to help with her BM. Placed her to the left side after.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break is over. Diaper was dry with extra large formed BM. We cleaned and changed her. Got her dressed and moved her to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack time (melon and banana).
