May 20 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is sleeping. Diaper is wet.

• 9:35AM - Maureen remains asleep. She is starting to chat with herself just a bit.

• The day officially began at 9:45AM. Maureen is in good spirits. Her diaper was wet. There was also an excessive amount Desitin present. We did not observe any areas of redness that would warrant it. Maya thoroughly cleaned Maureen with a set of warm wipes contained in the purple packet. She put on a fresh pull up and new pair of pants.

• 9:57AM - Breakfast begins. Maureen is listing to the left. Maya inserted a green wedge pillow into the day chair to straighten Maureen's posture. Maureen is engaged this morning. She is having a nice chat with Maya.

• Maureen will consume 1/2 glass of prune juice this morning.

• 10:22AM - Morning medications administered—blood pressure and baby aspirin.

• Maureen did cough a few times during breakfast. She sneezed once as well.

• Nasal congestion is significant. We opted to administer a dose of Flonase into each nostril.

• 10:52AM - Maureen is beginning to slump forward. Drooling has also started—in large part due to the slumping.

• 11:20AM - Due to the significant slumping forward, we moved Maureen to the lift recliner. Prior to doing that, Maya checked Maureen's pull up. It was dry.

• 11:55AM - Maureen began to suddenly move around quite a bit in the lift recliner. We asked her if she wanted to go to the bathroom. She said yes in a confused way. Maya checked her pull up. It was wet. We took her to the bathroom. She did nothing in the toilet. Maya cleaned Maureen and put on a fresh pull up.

• 1:15PM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. Her pull up had some fecal matter on it. Maureen had a small bowel movement on the toilet. Maya thoroughly cleaned her and put on a fresh pull up.

• 1:20PM -Niles' dynamic hair duo of Kathy and Maya, otherwise known as KAMA, gave Maureen's hair another Selsun Blue treatment. They then styled Maureen's hair to perfection. From the street of Sofia to Chicago and beyond, this dynamic duo continues to impress and surprise.

• 2:10PM - Pasta Thursday - Chef Brian prepared spaghetti with a spicy arrabbiata sauce and sautéed shiitake mushrooms.

• 3:25PM - Maya checked Maureen's pull up. It was wet. We headed to the bathroom. The pull up had some fecal matter on it. Maureen had a gigantic bowel movement in the toilet. She did not urinate.
