May 2, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is sitting comfortably in the recliner.

• 6:10pm Maureen is up to the bathroom. pull-up is dry. After waiting 20 minutes, we were unsuccessful, Maureen did not urinate nor move her bowels. Tom and I visibly saw Maureen grunting to try and use the bathroom to no avail.

• 6:30pm Dinner time. Maureen ate 100% of her chicken and spinach and had half a cup of water.

• 7:15pm Visit with Andy to administer Holy Communion to Maureen.

• 7:25pm Administered 5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

• 7:50pm Bed time. Transferred Maureen from the day chair to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is once again dry, perineal care performed, new diaper put on. Vicks applied to chest and both right and left big toe. Maureen is laying on her back.
