9:00AM - Maureen is still sleeping/resting.
Day began at 9:30AM. Maureen is a bit groggy this morning. Overall, she is in good spirits.
It has been more than 2.5 days since her last bowel movement. We have her a glass of prune juice this morning.
Maureen’s feet were very cold this morning. Her hands were also cold - not as much as her feet.
Her posture in the day chair is good She does nit need any assistance sitting up straight.
10:05AM - 2.5ml of Lacosamide/Vimpat administered.
Maureen coughed 4-5 times during breakfast. Her nose was also runny - not very common. We did not administer a dose of Flonase.
11:15AM - The Lacosamide/Vimpat has again wiped Maureen out. She is listless, non-responsive and drools at times. Her speech is also significantly more garbled.
11:20AM - Maya gave Maureen the daily fruit smoothy in the hopes of boosting her energy.
We took Maureen to the bathroom at 12:30PM. She moved her bowels. It was an extremely large and firm. She also urinated. Her pull up was wet.
2:18PM - Maureen went into a slight seizure. Symptoms included twitching arms, legs and face, lack of responsiveness, unfocused pupils and slightly clenched jaw. Her jaw relaxed at approximately 2:35. As a precaution, Maya and Brian turned Maureen on her right side in the lift recliner. The seizure ended at approximately 3:10PM.
Took Maureen to the bathroom at 3:40. She urinated in the toilet Urine was only slightly cloudy. Her pull up was wet and it had a very small amount of stool on it.
