Sunday June 27, 2021 Swingshift Update

  • 4:00pm Maureen is returning to the recliner from a trip to the bathroom.

  • 6:00pm Maureen’s pull-up is dry so we decide to skip our usual stop to the bathroom before dinner.

  • 6:10pm Dinner time. Maureen enjoyed a grilled burger with potato salad and one cup of water. Maureen is again leaning forward and to her left but with some positioning, she was able to sit upright for her meal. No coughing or pocketing water.

  • 7:07pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

  • 7:35pm Maureen is visibly losing energy and drooling so we decide to help her in to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is now slightly wet; cleaned and put on a new diaper. No redness observed. Removed socks and applied Vicks to chest. Maureen is lying on her left side.
