June 22, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying in the recliner working with Sister Roberta.

• 5:25pm Maureen’s pull-up is still dry at this point.

• 6:00pm Maureen’s pull-up is now wet, we took her to bed using the Hoyer lift for a change. Cleaned thoroughly and put on a new diaper. No redness seen. We returned to the day chair for dinner.

• 6:10pm Dinner time. Maureen ate all of her steak, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. She also drank one cup of water. Maureen sat upright without assistance for about 10 minutes before leaning forward and to her left for the rest of the meal. We found some success putting her elbows on the arm rests. No coughing or holding water in her mouth occurred.

• 7:32pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

• 7:46pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Diaper is wet, we cleaned Maureen thoroughly and put on a fresh diaper. No redness observed. Applied Vicks to chest and both right and left big toe. Maureen is lying on her right side.
